Celebrating its deal with Facebook, WhatsApp developers have surprised its users by giving out a major update to WhatsApp: Significant Privacy Options which users had been waiting for a long time which includes Disable Options For the "Last Seen At" notifier. Furthermore, you can hide your profile picture and status messages too.
In the latest version 2.11.169, users can themselves control who all can see their status messages, Profile Pictures and the "Last Seen At" mark. This feature was currently available to iOS users from quite a while, but yeah, it's now available to all its Android Mobile users worldwide.
Other features include changing your number without losing your personal and group messages & an option to pay WhatsApp renewal fees for a friend.
How to install:
- First Of All, make sure the check-box next to "Allow installation from unknown sources" is ticked in your Android settings.
- Download the APK file from HERE.
- If you have downloaded the APK on your computer, transfer it to your Android device.
- Click on the APK file and click on Install.
- If it asks for "Replace Application", click OK. The installation process should begin.
- Hurray! You have finally updated your WhatsApp to the latest version.
How to Disable "Last Seen At":
- Go to Settings in your WhatsApp screen and choose "Account" settings.
- Choose the option "Privacy" and you can see the options to disable "Last Seen At", Profile Pic and Status.
