Your Gmail ID Made Public by Google: The Change and Its Solution

Your favourite mail service provider, Gmail has recently made the email IDs of its users public. Any stranger can contact you personally using your G+ Profile and your mail address. Learn how to disable it and keep your account information private... 

Just few days back, Google introduced new changes to Google Plus and Gmail which might irritate many of the users because the changes will make all the mailing addresses public.

Google is continuously attempting new changes to its 2 years old social platform , Google Plus which currently holds more than 540 million users worldwide.

 The change is said to be made to broaden your list of available contacts, enabling everyone with your g+ profile can email you and vice versa.



How to disable this change :-

  • Login to your Gmail account.
  • Head over to the "Settings" tab on the top-right of your main/inbox screen.


  • Scroll down the "General" tab in the settings to find "Email via Google+: " option. 
  • Click the drop-down menu and choose the option "No One" to finally disable the change.
      

  • Finishing It, do click "Save Changes" at the bottom after choosing the option! ;)
